Overview
Tamy is a dynamic technology leader with 36 years of technical, business, and executive experience across government, telecom, supply chain, and hospitality industries.
As a member of iconic leadership teams at Friday’s, Applebee’s, USFoods, Potbelly Sandwiches, CrunchTime, Netsurion, Main Event, and Le Duff America (la Madeleine, Mimi’s Café, Bruegger’s), she has had a profound influence on public, franchised, global, and private equity brands with a proven track record of delivering game-changing business and technology transformation.
Business Leadership
After receiving the Top Women in Restaurant Technology Innovator award in 2018, she launched Return on Information consulting to fill the gap where rapid digital evolution, innovation, and seasoned technology expertise converged yet companies lacked the ability to define an integrated technology strategy and successfully drive each initiative across the finish line. As CIO at the executive boardroom table to hands-on project manager, she provides technology assessments, roadmaps, strategies, implementations, rollouts, transformations, acquisitions, and divestitures by collecting feedback from business and operations leaders, assembling and leading powerful teams, building vendor partnerships, defining the total technology ecosystem, personally managing multi-project programs, and positioning brands for amazing growth pre-, during, and post-pandemic.
Innovation
Tamy has successfully led business transformation and innovation projects with clients and partners that include Bonchon, Jim ‘n Nicks, Miller’s Ale House, Friday’s, Reef, 4 Rivers BBQ, Just Between Friends, L Clatterton, Roark Capital, and RTG. Tamy is on the Board of Governors for Restaurant Technology Network in collaboration with colleagues and vendors to define technology standards and accelerate innovation.
Education
She received her BBA in Data Processing and Analysis from the University of Texas and MBA from Nova Southwestern University.
